The design direction for The FADER—a celebrated magazine covering music and culture—aimed for a timeless and clean structure. The pages and typography were designed as a gallery-style “clean white box” where the story and content were conveyed through a variety of photography styles, editorial content, illustration, and art direction. Photography is a central, and thus prominent, dimension of the magazine’s visual identity.
